The Pirates! is cleverly funny, self-aware, and comically entertaining, but I have to be honest: it could've been better, it could've been so much funnier, and I'm not sure if I can ever see myself revisiting this one again.
I'll admit however it's nice to see the wonderful claymation style back again as so it's less common in today's films and the voice casting is wonderful. Rent it if you must, but I otherwise feel you're not missing out on much.
