Down to earth, simple, yet not simplistic saga with brilliant animation and enough dry brit humour to further desiccate the Atacama dessert. Fun characters and charming scenery made this enjoyable and engaging to watch, while the script, although almost childish, was fresh enough to make all the pieces hook you to your seat throughout.

Grant's glorified-loser type personifies well in the captain, endowing him with several qualities we often see in Grant flicks. Overall, does well at appealing to kiddies and grumps alike, although its lightheartedness may bore some more hardcore animation fans.
