I'm a sucker for stop-motion animation and the level of expertise that Peter Lord and his Aardman crew present in "Pirates!" has once again left me astounded. The amount of detail in each frame is stunning.
The story works well enough and the voice acting is top notch, especially Hugh Grant as the loveable underdog Pirate Captain.
