Whilst this isn't Aardmans best work, this still stands head and shoulders above much kids entertainment put out these days. While it isn't as inventive as say Wallace and Gromit, which crams the background full of jokes and little wink wink moments, Pirates puts everything front and centre.
But when a film looks as good as this who really cares. Great entertainment for all the family.
