What makes a fantastic animated film is when there are jokes for kids and jokes for adults to understand but not kids. When an animated movie has that, I am very happy because it shows intelligence. That is something that The Pirates! Band of Misfits has plenty of.
Some laugh out loud moments make this film lots of fun to watch and Aardman certainly show that they are one of the premier animation studios in the business up there with early Disney and Pixar.
