I was entirely ready to hate this, but I laughed--even at some jokes that weren't that funny. I love Pink Panther movies. Beyonce is completely sexy, and Steve Martin does a pretty respectable job bungling in massive style, or maybe massively, or maybe just en personal masse.
That's what Clouseau is all about! Joke not too funny? That's okay, try again babe. I'm evidently not a hair, whit, or shred above cheap gags and physical humor if they're the kind I like.
Am I deluded in recalling Clouseau for once getting a girl interested in him? What a mistake...
