Review of The Pink Panther (2006) by Deb S — 23 Feb 2010
Truth be told, I enjoyed the originals but was able to put that aside. This is an average film with a good cast of Steve Martin, Kevin Kline, Jean Reno and Emily Mortimer. Steve Martin is a very funny man and I did find the dance sequence with him and Jean Reno posing as back-up dancers amusing as well as watching Clouseau trying to enunciate the word "Hamburger".
Sexual innuendos were prevalent throughout the film, but done in such a fashion that young children wouldn't realize what was so funny to the adults. I'll recommend turning your brain off for a few hours and just watch it for the honest to goodness slapstick humor.
