Review of The Pink Panther 2 (2009) by Edie H — 10 Aug 2009
The attempt to shoehorn a continuing love interest into the Clouseau story is misguided and completely tone-deaf. There's approximately one okay sequence per 30 minutes. The Clouseau character as both written and performed is too "modern," too meta, and honestly, too good at his job.
The Lily Tomlin subplot is completely out of place in this movie.
