Not a bad movie by any stretch. I went into this film with an open mind having not seen the first (from what I understand this is the better of the two). I was actually surprised by the film. It has it moments and made me laugh several times throughout.
His mocking of the French mannerisms is good part of the humor in the film. If you are to watch it with any French natives (as I did), the mockery will make the film even more enjoyable. Either way, Steve Martin plays the part wonderfully and you will find this to be enjoyable film for all ages if you haven't already seen the first.
