Review of The Pink Panther 2 (2009) by Daniel M — 15 Feb 2010

I was really looking forward to this installment of the Pink Panther franchise as I really enjoyed the last one with a good little mystery and some good laughs from Martin's slapstick. When I saw this it is fair to say that it definately wasn't as good as the previous installment for many reasons.

Firstly, the plot was very predictable for me. As soon as I saw one particular character enter the film I said to myself, "This person is gonna be the villain". And I was correct. Also, there was a lot of arkward innuendo between Cleuseau and Nicole that I found uncomfortable.

And I didn't laugh as much as I did previously. But it still was a neat little story with some funny moments and I felt that the performances were ok to pass for young kids. Roll on Pink Panther 3.
