I haven't seen the first one, but this one was a bit silly. I'm not at all into slapstick humor that much but this one was marginally watchable and mildly entertaining at the best of times. I think I didn't hate it because I knew it was going to be bad. so, if you're going into see this, lower your expectations! and if they're really, really, really low, then you may enjoy it. however, you may not :P.
Two stars for effort and steve martin's facial expressions.
