It's not often that you see a cast of so many famous people degrade themselves to this foolishness. And this is the reason why.

I suspect that the makers of this movie decided to reboot the Pink Panther series to honor it (and for money), but they are doing the exact opposite. They replace the perfect Inspector Cluseau with Steve Martin? That is just a slap across the face to the once memorable franchise. Now, thanks to Martin and his followers, not one person can think about the Pink Panther franchise and not be disgusted by their horrid attempts at a second go. But I guess that is Hollywood's overall goal. To destroy famous franchises.
