Best thing about this sorry excuse for a comedy is John Cleese, who brings a bit of Basil Fawlty-style madness to the role of Chief Inspector Dreyfus! Otherwise, despite its incredible cast, it stinks: only 2 or 3 funny scenes, only a dozen hilarious lines and complete unfunny stupidity the rest of the timeâ?¦ making Steve Martinâ??s lame accent (who really did give a decent first shot at the role of Clouseau) even more annoying.
