Review of The Pill (2011) by Bradley I — 13 Apr 2012
The pill fends off conventional romantic dramadies by cutting the mainstream junk from the parameters of the film. All while cleverly playing on a movie poster of a romantic comedy named "The Break Up" as if to stick its nose up at the cookie cutter trap that Hollywood so often falls into. The cast is limited and mostly unknown, more often the case than not with independent films. Noah Bean's striking resemblance to another Hollywood actor will only mildly distract you.
The film leaves you searching for other films featuring our leading lady and gentleman. Unfortunately your search will yield little results, we can only hope the pill gives way and allows the conception of their future film careers.
