This is a heartwarming, laugh out loud kid friendly family film!! Super strong cast led by Hollywood veteran Lynn Cohen in one of her sweetest roles yet! She brings a heart and warmth to the film that is felt by all. The improvisational scenes between Jon Dore and Eric Edlestein are truly hilarious and capture the chemistry between these actors. The film is also a love letter to Detroit and shows so much of the city. Very well shot- especially the drone shots of the skyline. Love that we know so many speaking roles went to Michigan actors and actresses. They all truly shine in the film.
The score is also amazing and energetic, by composer Michelino Bescaglia and it really gets you in the mood and feeling of each individual scene. There's just so much to love about this film. Its truly beautiful to both laugh and cry (more than once) during a funny family film. I highly recommend you see it!
