Based on an amazing novel and starring amazing actors, la Huppert above all. borderline personalities will go: yup, been there, I know that gesture, that phrase, that reaction, that situation, that emotion., I completely can relate to this...so will anyone addicted to Schubert's music and familiar with his biography, or anyone who's studied at a conservatoire or worked at a sex shop.

I also adore the subtle, black and completely twisted humour as well as the Austrian-style mise-en-scene.
