Review of The Piano Teacher (2001) by Ravikiran A — 22 Mar 2009
Not easy to watch but yet so excellent. huppert is just brilliant. underacting is the way to go and she totally nails this role. haneke again with his strange but yet perfect directing choices make this one strange uneasy but still very interesting watching experience.
it's simply a 40year old piano teacher with some problems. spinsterhood and living with one's mother is not good for one's healt should be the message of this film. full of sexual and emotional problems this film is not to be missed.
so unexpectedly perverse.
