Review of The Piano (1993) by Heather L — 14 Aug 2008
I originally saw this film in my Feminist Media Studies course, and I'm really glad because there are so many aspects of the plot that I find to be utterly disgusting. And to be frank, Harvey Keitel should never get naked in front of anyone ever...let alone a camera.
Despite the ideological difficulties I have with this movie, it is totally engrossing and stunning.
