Harvey Keitel was in almost every major picture released between 1992 and 1994. Well, not really, but it seems that way sometimes. I haven't seen this one in the last 10 years but I do remember that Hollt Hunter won a Best Actress Oscar and Anna Paquin won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1994 for this film.
It was gorgeously shot on location in New zeleand I believe.
