Review of The Piano (1993) by Kelly K — 04 Jan 2013
Jane Campion is a name that should be known today, no question about it, mainly because the name implies talent. Unfortunately, it will convince some critics to give it a full score because:
A. It's a woman's project.
B. It has graphic sexuality.
The two points above are a good thing: The final product is a seductively crafted and wonderfully acted drama with no fear to state its ideas.
86/100.
