Review of The Pianist (2002) by Neal P — 16 Aug 2013
The Pianist is more than just a movie, it's a work of art--and a masterpiece at that. It may come off as slow and boring to some, but to those who can see the work for the phenomenal biographical drama that it is, will realize that The Pianist is quite possibly the most enthralling life story ever told through film.
The sheer realism is perfectly embodied through Brody's spectacular performance and Chopin's piano pieces act as a perfect substitute for an original score--fitting more than just the title of this film.
