Review of The Pianist (2002) by Ching L — 28 May 2013
I love Poland. The history is heartbreaking, but the people are brilliant.
Looking at the history of Poland through the eyes of Szpilman is simply a remarkable dimension.
A bit long-winded, but definitely well-made enough to carry audience through without feeling bored or losing some along the course of the film.
The intensity and the colour is amazing.
