Review of The Pianist (2002) by Partha A — 19 Mar 2011
An engrossing World War 2 true story rendered masterfully by Roman Polanski and adorned with the powerful acting of Adrien Brody, this one is a classic. The savagery of World War 2 and the incredible survival of 'The Pianist' is ultimately the triumph of hope amidst of despair and devastation.
Seen it long back, but the inspiration it bestowed on me still echoes in my mind. I owe this movie a big thank!
