An absolutely amazing movie. A great screenplay, thanks to the fact that the movie is based on Noah Gordon's book "The Physician". The imagery is astounding throughout the movie (the White Cliffs of Dover, the desert.
..) - the director of photography just did a gorgeous job. And you learn so much about history, the middle ages, the Jews, the Persian Sha, the Seleucids... not to mention the fact that the story is very elaborate and intense to the very last moment.
Must watch!
