Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by David P — 15 Jul 2008
Probably one of my top three favorite movies of all time. The acting is superb and believable. The lines are witty but not forced. Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, and Katherine Hepburn are all at the top of their games.
The scene where Jimmy Stewart goes to see "CK Dexter Haven" is my favorite in all moviedom. Even Hepburns character is believable with her strengths and weaknesses.
