Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by Corn O — 27 Jun 2009
Fast paced story about a rich socialite who starts off as an almost bratty "goddess" and quickly realizes she'd rather be a real living, feeling human being. cary grant was wonderful, he and james stewart kept the one-liners coming.
the kid who played hepburn's younger sister, dinah, was simply adorable. witty too. I loved her upfront nature. and hepburn was, of course, everything a real movie star should be. heck, even the supporting cast was intriguing.
comedy back when it was new, exciting, and refreshing.
