Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by James M — 22 Jan 2014
Classic Screwball comedy about high society & the birth of paparazzi.
It's quite dated now in the aspect that it depicts men as golf-playing, hatted and suited gentlemen and a woman's place is in the kitchen and the dialogue is all "Golly, well isn't that gay and dandy", but this still remains one of the best movies of the 1940's.
