Review of The Phantom Tollbooth (1970) by Peter P — 17 Mar 2011

So I was at my friends birthday party as a kid, and his mom tells everyone that she is putting on a movie, so we all gather expecting greatness, (we showed Rambo 3 at my party that year, we must have rewound the part were the guy gets knocked down the hole and gets hung while he blows up cause the grenades on his chest go off at least 20 times, so my friends birthday movie had a lot to live up to) and his mom pops The Phantom Tollbooth into the VCR, (that is the thing we used to play movies on before DVD took over, for all those kiddies out there who are wondering what a VCR is).

Well, let's just say we were all disappointed and no matter how much my friend tried to justify it being a great movie and that his mom was awesome, IT JUST SUCKED.
