Set in the 17th century, this Korean drama tells the story of Yong (Jun-ki Lee), a boy who witnesses the murder of his father, then watches as his sister is executed years later. Determined to avenge their deaths, he transforms into a stealthy bandit. During the robbery of a nobleman, Yong leaves behind a red apricot blossom and is soon dubbed Il Ji-Mae. As his legend grows, he becomes a Robin Hood figure who fights crime and corruption.
