Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Carla M — 21 Sep 2012
The Phantom of the Opera is nothing special and a downcast tribute to the classic film of a Hollywood gone by. It's by no means able to stand by itself, but it's a decent enough effort and a bottom-line good film.
Very good costumes and outstanding cinematography. Take away the dialogue and keep the music.
