Review of The Phantom of the Opera (1925) by Matt K — 06 Oct 2008
The best version of this story that I've seen. I really got into it, it is so well designed, the phantom is actually scary and the sets! wow, there actually was a scary labyrinth below the opera house for once! I think the thing that helped pull it all together for me was also the fantastic new score by Carl Davis, that man is a god! This is now one of my favorite silent movies!
