This is purely a Lon Chaney project. No disrespect to the other actors or anyone else involved in the production, but Lon Chaney gave the film its reputation.
The only thing missing from this film is an official soundtrack; when buying this film, look for a decent soundtrack which can either make or break your experience with this film.
