Review of The Petrified Forest (1973) by Rohan T — 08 Jan 2008
A lot of people complain that this is a film feels like a filmed version of the stageplay. Folks, that's because it IS a filmed version of the stageplay. Moaning about that is like moaning about chicken nuggets pre-cut into the shapes of little chickens.
We all know the chicken nuggets come from chickens so stop your bellyaching and eat the chicken nuggets. Bogart is terrific in this film, as is Bette Davis, of "she's got Bette Davis eyes" fame.
