One of the best early Davis movies. She is absolutly adoreable as Gabby the girl who just wants to study art in Paris. Leslie howard maybe overacts and Bogart is fantastic as a John Dillienger type, and yes it has aged, but it has something which many a film nowadays misses.
.. star quality and bite.
