Review of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) by Rafal K — 23 Jan 2014
A very strong and deep plot that extracts the book brilliantly. This film is one of the better translations from paper to film I've ever seen. The acting was decent accompanied with a very good performance by Emma Watson.
I really really like her out of the Harry potter role I've been accustomed to.(although she's good in those too). The coloring of the film for the text's overall tone really good and I appreciated the detail to the text.
There are small parts in the film that are sort of stalled in communication between actors which bothered me a bit. Overall though I loved the film and loved seeing Emma Watson in a different setting.
