This is one of those "book-to-film" adaptations where I actually prefer the film adaptation over the novel. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a great film that had a very positive impact on me after my first time watching it. Since then, I could not stop thinking about it. I guess it's one of those films that stay with you forever. I watched the film before I read the novel and that's how I recommend doing it.
