By far one of the most unique and mature coming of age films that the industry has to offer, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is an immense success due to the charismatic and sincere performances by its three lead actors.
After Percy Jackson, we can see how Logan Lerman has evolved as an actor. Emma Watson, who is always wonderful, captivates the audience with an outstanding performance as Sam, Charlie's (Logan Lerman) love interest.
Ezra Miller plays the quirky, free,rebellious teenager Patrick, who refuses to be defined by his sexuality despite being homosexual. The Perks will reduce you to tears, with first time director Stephen Chbosky directs his own screenplay adapted from his best selling novel.
Funny, wise, and thought provoking, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of the year's best films, and is definitely a story to cherish.
