Review of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) by Kevin P — 12 Jan 2015
Dramatically intriguing and heartwarmingly satisfying, "Perks of Being a Wallflower" makes up for its few noticeable complications (particularly when they completely glanced over a revealing past of involving the former friend of the protagonist) with a likeable and strong cast, good humor to douse the dramatic flames when necessary, a subtlety effective secondary message about gay tolerance, a good twist near the end, and best of all an engaging coming-of-age journey for our relatable introverted protagonist.
