Review of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) by James W — 31 Oct 2013
It's very rare I say the word sweet or heartfelt when talking about a movie but I've got to say that The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a really sweet and heartfelt movie with incredible acting.
Logan Lerman will click with you immediately, he is very likeable actor and he is excellent as a reserved, lonely teenager who is hiding a deep, dark and shocking secret that is revealed at the end. Emma Watson and Ezra Miller are very entertaining, each stealing every scene they are in with their bubbliness and loud as life performances, and Mae Whitman is great too.
This is a great story of being young, finding your voice, loving and meeting people who will help you through life, it's engaging, upsetting and always enjoyable.
