Review of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) by Keegan K — 04 Jan 2014
One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It is literally perfect, from the directing to the acting to the endearing cast and the wonderful story. What I really like about it is how true to life it is and how it really captures what life could be for the misfits and those who are secretly going through life's problems.
It's kind of a roller coaster that takes you through the shyness of starting high school, rejection, making new friends, kissing a girl for the first time, breaking up a fight, performing in front of others, enjoying life, dealing with a death and so much more.
The director is also great to listen to. A very respectable guy who provides great audio commentary for a wonderful behind the scenes look.
Overall, amazing, and I can't wait to watch it again.
