The adaptation is very great. You can definitely "feel" the entire book format. This movie is not just a mere book adaptation. Stephen Chbosky made it in such a way that you watch the book, not watch a movie. If you are a fan of The Catcher in the Rye, you should definitely check out this movie and, if you're a reader, read the book.

If only a "The Catcher in the Rye" movie could be done the same way...
