Review of The Perfection (2018) by Jessisjudgey — 28 May 2019
The only scary thing about The Perfection is the fact it's clear they wanted nothing more than to cash in on the #metoo movement. The premise is laughably stupid, the dialogue is badly written/repetitive, it's corny but self-serious, and painfully hollow.
Don't worry, the male writers and director were sure to shoehorn in totally irrelevant, "hot" girl-on-girl action to hold your attention within the first 30 minutes. Don't believe the marketing hype.
It's not feminist, and it's not scary.
