Review of The Perfect Score (2004) by Nolan M — 14 Aug 2007
I would probably give this movie a higher rating (it's my enjoyment, not it's quality as a flick) had I not just watched it and started to see the aging of it. It still holds up pretty well. It's corny, and cliche, but like "Accepted" makes good points about the educational system (despite the obvious overdramatizing of the situations).
I think Chris Evans is a charismatic lead, and the Asian stoner is funny and has some unexpected character. Since it's got a nice little heart, it's okay in my book despite corniness and run-of-the-mill-teen-comedy-ness.
It's not a masterpiece, just a nice little teen flick.
