Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by Hugh J — 24 Apr 2008
I liked pretty much everything in this film, the stance that freedom of speech is hella important even if repressed fucks are offended (they worded it better), the acting, particularly of Harrelson and Norton, the comedic moments, the more emotional ones, Crispin Glover and his creepy eye and especially, Norm Macdonald's 2 minutes of screentime.
My God, it was awesome just to see him in a movie. I wish he had a bigger part cause he was downplaying his role and didn't really have his trademark wiseass voice so it was cool just to see him doing something different.
All in all, I was entertained throughout and I enjoyed seeing that there are others who share my viewpoint, especially when they can make their arguments better than I ever can. Damn good movie.
