Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by Itamar K — 25 Jun 2009
A messy, disjointed biography that has major pacing and structure problems and no coherent message whatsoever. Admittedly, Forman does a solid directorial work as far as cinematography and editing is concerned, and Woody Harrelson is terrific in the lead which is probably the best performance of his career; those are enough to make the movie enjoyable, but not to make it good.
