Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by John E — 17 Jun 2010
This is a decent semi-biographic account of Hustler creator Larry Flynt. Whether or not you agree with his profession makes no difference in your enjoyment of this movie. The heat and heart of the film's debate is ones freedom of speech in free society.
Good performances by all involved. Worth a look if only just to debate the civil liberties we are afforded verses censorship demanded by others who oppose your moral position.
