Who knew the backstory of a porn magazine could be so interesting? Answer: It isn't. The real fascinating part of The People Vs Larry Fyynt is not the story of the magazine but the story of the man behind it and his journey through life from a good natured business man, to a person with a vision, to a broken hearted, bitter old man.
So well acted and well portrayed is the life of Larry Flynt that you are willing to forgive all the other issues the film might have.
