Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by Nick O — 19 Sep 2009
Starts off rocky, however once it gets on its feet there's no stopping it. The nudity at times feels vile and unnecessary, and I don't know whether it was trying to imitate art or to mock it. Courtney Love and Edward Norton deliver fine performances but Woody Harrelson's role is classic.
Not the best political comedy I've seen, but it's still worth a watch.
