Review of The People vs. George Lucas (2010) by Stephen S — 03 Jun 2012
Not bad. Pretty one-sided...some of the problems that fans have with Lucas are really nit-picky. There was absolutely nothing wrong with remaking the films in 1997...this is what actually got me into the franchise in the first place, as I'm sure is true for a generation of younger Star Wars films.
People just need to learn to get over themselves sometimes. I thought they would make a legitimate case against him, but it's the same shit being said over and over again...one person just piling on after the other.
And people who attack his films do so retardedly...everyone always attacks SW: Episode 1 and IJ: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but of those series, Episode 2 and the Temple of Doom are the by far the worst films in these series, respectively.
