Review of The People Under the Stairs (1991) by Chad D — 01 Feb 2009
Wes Craven is a director that kicked some serious ass in the 80's and 90's. It is kind of sad that he hasn't really done anything comparable recently. Scream was decent, but was more a comedy anyways.
This was a weird little post nightmare on elm street movie that almost doesnt feel like one of his movies. It features a crazy cast and a crazier premise. I loved it and think it is definitely worth watching.
Wes Craven needs to come back to this kind of horror.
